We're glad you have joined us. Misty Woods is owned and operated by myself, DeAnna Neale, and my grandson, Rick Davisson.

We are a working goat farm, where we raise Boer goats as breeding stock for the meat industry. As well as our beautiful, well-loved foundations stock, you will always see happy, healthy kids bouncing around our small acreage. Some of these cute little guys will become replacement breeding stock, while others will be offered up for sale. We believe in raising quality animals, and only offer the best boer goats for sale as breeding stock, the rest we market to the commercial meat goat industry. We have just begun to raise a few fainting goats. They have a wonderful personality and are lots of fun! We are anxiously awaiting our first kidding, and will have fainting goat kids for sale soon. Keep watching to see pictures of the new arrivals!

Of course, we offer a large selection of goats milk soaps and lotions, as well as a few all natural complementary products. Lip balms are always popular, as well as the lotion bars, and the furniture rejuvenator is amazing! Many of these products would not be possible without "our girls", the 3 dairy goats that keep us in goat's milk.

You would think that with all these goats, we wouldn't have time or room for any other critters, but we found that raising goats was much easier with a couple of guardian animals, so we purchased two donkeys and a pair of Great Pyrenees dogs. Now we raise Pyrenees pups and are able to offer a few for sale each year. Then I discovered that moving animals alone, when Rick is not available, was a job for two. I added a Border Collie trained in goat herding to the farm. Bailey is the extra hand I always seemed to need. Our other Border Collie, Jill, will meet you at the door and pass judgment. Don't worry, she seems to like just about all our goat friends.

We round out our farm with geese, chickens and ducks, and a few calves. At Misty Woods, everything is handled with loving care, from the birth of a new kid to the creation of our health and beauty products. Everything at Misty Woods is given a name and treated like one of the family. We believe this down-home attention produces happy and healthy animals.
