Located in Southwest Missouri, just a short drive from Kansas City,
Springfield, Sedalia or Columbia, we offer Fainting goats (Myotonics), Angora fiber and Goat milk soaps and lotions, as well as a number of other “Nature Friendly” products.

Our philosophy
We have always strived to raise quality animals, and have in the past had an impressive herd of Boer goats at Misty Woods. Now, we find a need for change, and have enlarged our Fainting goat herd and added more wonderful dairy goats that assist us in the making of goat milk soap, lotions and other products.

Our fainting goats (myotonic goats) are a relatively new addition, but we are proud of our quality stock. Again, we used the same philosophy in the selection of our fainting goat breeding stock, and plan to offer quality fainting goats for sale.
We now have a wonderful set of Myotonic(Fainting) does, and usually have a few Fainting Goats for sale. We are excited about the expansion of our Fainting herd, and have recently added a wonderful new buck. We can’t wait to see the results in the Spring! We believe we will have some of the best Myotonic Fainting goats in Missouri!

Goat Milk Soaps, Lotions and Products |
The goats milk soap and goats milk lotion came as a side business. The all natural products made from milk from my own girls were a wonderful off-shoot, and now have become a major part of our goat business.
The soaps and lotions are just wonderful, and word of mouth has really expanded our soap sales. With many people now looking toward “green” and “natural”, we are finding that these quality soaps and lotions are really fitting the bill.

We raise Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, and offer a few pups for sale each year.
|
|
We own a few show horses. The Arabians and American Saddlebred horses are still very close to our hearts, and you will find Misty Woods at many of the class A shows in the Midwest.

We also have a donkey, and a Border collie to help with the goats. Now add a few chickens, ducks, geese, horses and rabbits, and you have a picture of our little farm in the Midwest!
